ABOUT
MY PHILOSOPHY - (See Specialties Below)

Every journey starts with one small step. To seek help is probably the most courageous and difficult step you will have ever taken. Healing is within reach. Contact me and let’s take the next step together. I can help you restore hope and assist you through your journey of healing.

I believe that the keys to healing include:

a) creating a safe space to explore issues that may be vulnerable and difficult;

b) being empathic and non-judgmental as one begins to uncover and connect with the depth of their own subjectivity to find meaning;

c) to provide a felt sense of forgiveness;

d) to model accountability and self - responsibility;

e) to develop a healthy sense of humor; and,

f) to be in a respectful and honest partnership with a committed, responsive and empathic
listener.

My approach is one of deep respect honoring your journey. I am committed to facilitating personal transformations in my clients' lives - to find meaning and purpose that are basic to a person's well-being and wholeness.

I am compassionate and warm with an authentic engaging openness. I offer a safe, confidential, and responsive space to explore and develop a deeper understanding of one's self and others in order to relieve suffering, promote personal growth, and create lasting change.

I help people to heal from their loss(es) and experiences of betrayal and abuse; repair ruptured trust; develop loving, intimate relationships; replace shame with self-acceptance; and communicate authentically, skillfully and kindly.

In our work together, you will experience compassionate support and guidance whereby you will experience that each day affords another opportunity. We will shine light together where there is darkness for clarity and meaning as well as, developing a deeper understanding of yourself and others. I will encourage you towards increased intimacy, engagement and mastery in your life so that the best of you shines through.
